Promise Polish Swatches & Review

Friday, April 10, 2015

Happy Friday y'all! I have another new to me indie to show you guys today. Glitter toppers, holos, and thermals, oh my!
Promise Polish offers 3 and 5 free polishes. A percentage of profits go to 2 different organizations: Joyful Heart Foundation which assists victims of domestic abuse and sexual violence, and Hand of Hope which assists families here in the USA with medical treatment, education, etc.
Charmed I'm Sure is a pale pink duochrome holographic with an ice blue shift. Nice formula, easy application. This is 3 coats.
Shiver is a pale icy blue shimmer with silver flecks. I looooove this color, simply beautiful. I also love it because "Shiver" is one of my favorite Coldplay songs, so of course while swatching this I had to play the song LOL. No issues. This is 3 coats.
Super Sonic is an intense purple multichrome flakie. Debbie says "if you love purple, this one is for you!" and boy is she correct. I love how vibrant and gorgeous the color shifts are in this polish. It was hard to capture the true beautifulness (is that a word? it is now.) of this! 2 coats, dries semi matte, so top coat it!
By the Pool is a topper with varying sizes and colors of glitters and flakies. Don't do like I did, and paint your base and apply the glitter topper almost immediately, you will get nasty streaks! PATIENCE, MANNA. I had to reswatch this. One coat over China Glaze Feel the Breeze.
Wisteria is a soft pastel purple thermal. When it's cold it's a darker purple, hot it is pastel purple. Love thermals so much, and for once, I actually captured the color change! This is 2 coats.
Final thoughts: There is a nice variety of polishes to choose from, there is definitely something for everyone! I had no issues with any of these. Minis range from $5-$6 and full sizes are $8-$9.
