Literary Lacquers February 2017 Pop Up Swatches & Review

For 2017 Literary Lacquers is switching to a "pop up" format, meaning the shop will be open once a month and the polishes will vary. For February, there will be three new shades (two on the blog today) as well as some returning cremes. Let's check em out!

Inspiration: The poem "Hope" is the thing with feathers, by Emily Dickinson
Description: Lavender linear holo with blue shimmer
Application & Formula: Good formula, easy and smooth application. No issues! Such a beautiful shade!
Opacity: 2 coats
Price: $10
Inspiration: Created with Jen from thejediwife.com, inspired by the Oscar Wilde story of the same name
Description: Sparkling sapphire blue crelly with a subtle pink shimmer and flakes
Application & Formula: Formula is good, perfect consistency. However, some of the flakes did drag a bit on the nail so be sure not to overwork it like I did.
Opacity: 2 coats
Price: $10
Originally from: Winter 2015 Crème a la Mode Box
Description: Lilac grey crème
Application & Formula: Good formula, perfect consistency that I look for in a creme. Don't overwork it or you may end up with brushstrokes like I did.
Opacity: 2 coats
Price: $9.50
Originally from: Summer 2016 Crème a la Mode Box
Description: Turquoise cyan crème
Application & Formula: Good formula, perfect consistency that I look for in a creme. My swatches show it leaning more green, but it definitely leans more blue in person. I tried to color correct it, but I was unsuccesful. It's such a hard color to capture!
Opacity: 2 coats
Price: $9.50
Originally from: Spring 2016 Crème a la Mode Box
Description: Pinky-coral crème
Application & Formula: Good formula, perfect consistency that I look for in a creme. Application was smooth and easy.
Opacity: 2 coats
Price: $9.50

Availability: Friday, February 3, 8pm MST to Sunday, February 5, midnight MST. Amy has no current plans to stock the new shades again after this pop up.
