Literary Lacquers Misc. Swatches & Review

Happy Friday guys! Any exciting plans for the weekend? There's going to be LOTS of swimming this weekend for me, it's going to be excruciatingly hot in Kentucky, heat index of 110 is what they're calling for. Literary Lacquers has been working on quite a few polishes lately, some of them were inspired by and designed with her friends. Check em out!

First up is the Othello duo, a crème duo named by Trish Cowart Krulin in a Literary (&) Lacquers contest
Description: An aqua crème polish
Application & Formula: Great formula. Easy, smooth application. Self levels and applies like butter, no visible brush strokes.
Opacity: 2 thick coats (shown) or 3 thin if that's what you prefer.
Description: A sea-green crème polish. *Note that this color may look different depending on what device you're looking from. On my phone, it appears more neon. On my color calibrated laptop, it is definitely sea green.
Application & Formula: Great formula. Easy, smooth application. Self levels and applies like butter, no visible brush strokes.
Opacity: 2 thick coats (shown) or 3 thin if that's what you prefer.

The next in my series of Literary Lovers duos was designed with Nichole Costa of Bedlam Beauty after Amy & Nichole geeked out over both having cruised by Anne Rice’s house in the Garden District in New Orleans.
Description: A saturated lilac metallic linear holo. Icy and cool as the vampire himself.
Application & Formula: Great formula. I'm usually NOT a fan of metallic, but this is perfect. Nearly a 1 coater! Easy, smooth application. No issues.
Opacity: 2 coats
Description: Black and green glitter topper. Black hair, green eyes, the vampire with a guilty conscience
Application & Formula: I gasped when I saw this in my swatch box! BEAUTIFUL! I brushed on 1 thick coat over a black base. I don't think you will need to sponge this on, as the formula is perfect
Opacity: 1 coat

Amy: "The next polish is a lone wolf. It was inspired by Cate Cropp, her obsessive love for green nail polish and her ability to keep tempting me with screencaps of wildfire explosions from Game of Thrones until I made this polish just to get the color out of my head. It’s named for events that do not yet occur in the world of the books, but I hope they do!"
Description: Screaming chartreuse microglitter crelly. Inspired by Cersei's revenge. Unfortunately, I lost interest in Game of Thrones after the first season, but it doesn't stop me from loving this color.
Application & Formula: Great formula, easy and smooth application. Glitters don't clump and it self levels.
Opacity: 2 thick coats (shown) or 3 thin if that's what you prefer.

All of these will be available July 25th!
