DazzleGlaze Storyteller Magic Swatches & Review

Hi everyone! I feel like I haven't written a blog post in so long, probably because I haven't. I've been busier than usual so I've had to post things that have been drafted for a while. But fear not, I'm back with a vengeance the next couple of weeks. DazzleGlaze has a collection called Storyteller Magic releasing this Friday, and I was lucky enough to get to share it with you all!

This collection was inspired by the Enchanted Forest Chronicles by Patricia C. Wrede, which is a series of books that was re-released in September. Let's get right to the swatches.

Description: A deep eggplant purple polish with gold and violet shimmer throughout 

Application & Formula: No issues. Applies like a dream!

Opacity: 2 coats

Dry time: 10 minutes

Price: $8

Thoughts: Sparkly purple goodness! This polish is just lovely. I did have a few visible brush strokes, but no big deal. If you love purple, I highly suggest adding this to your collection. You can never have too many purples, trust me.

Description: A light green jelly base with several different shades and sizes of green glitter
Application & Formula: Formula is chunky, so it made smooth application slightly difficult for me.
Opacity: 2 coats
Dry time: 10 minutes
Price: $8
Thoughts: This shade of green makes me long for Spring time again. As I mentioned, the formula is a bit chunky because of all the various glitters, but it's easily manageable. I would highly suggest a peel off base coat to make removal easier.

Description: a white crelly polish with purple, blue, and aqua matte glitters 

Application & Formula: Good formula and easy application

Opacity: 2 coats

Dry time: 10 minutes

Price: $8

Thoughts: White crellies are my weakness. That plus 3 of my favorite color glitters? This is me in a bottle lol. You may need to double up on the top coat if you want a smooth finish.

Description: a thermal polish with a light pinkish nude to a more bright, bold pink color change; subtle shimmer throughout 

Application & Formula: Fantastic formula making for an easy, smooth application

Opacity: 2 coats

Dry time: 10 minutes

Price: $9

Thoughts: You know how some thermals aren't as noticeable as others? This is NOT one of those. This thermal transition is BAM, in your face, and I love it. When it's hot it's more of a peachy pink, when cold it turns to a bright Barbie pink.

Description: a dense glitter topper with tons of holographic gold and matte periwinkle glitter

Application & Formula: Perfection

Opacity: 1 coat over Renegade Royalty

Dry time: 5 minutes

Price: $7.50

Thoughts: Beautiful combination of glitters. The formula is so dense that I think you may be able to pull this off to full opacity. I like it better as a topper though.
