Sally Hansen Fall 2015 Designer Inspired Shades

Hey everyone! Sally Hansen has collaborated with 3 different designers this year to bring you 9 new shades for fall! I chose one from each collection to share with you all, check em out!

Prabal Gurung
Prabal Gurung launched his eponymous collection in February 2009 with a philosophy encompassing modern luxury, bold femininity and an astute sense of glamour.

The exclusive Prabal Gurung for Sally Hansen collection includes: Complete Salon Manicure in Midnight Affair, Complete Salon Manicure in Leaf Peeper, Complete Salon Manicure in Concrete Jungle.

Midnight Affair is a deep cobalt blue. Formula was spot on, which made application easy. The thing with SH brushes is they're wide, which can be good, but it also has the tendency to hold too much polish which can in turn mean flooded cuticles, so be careful! This is 2 coats.
Tracy Reese
In 1996, Tracy Reese launched her eponymous collection to rave reviews. Perfect for the modern woman, Reese’s debut showcased ultra-feminine, polished pieces layered with intelligent nostalgia, charm and glamour; a distinctive look that the designer has since become known for.

The exclusive Tracy Reese for Sally Hansen collection includes: Complete Salon Manicure in Yummy Yam,  Complete Salon Manicure in Maasai Red,  Complete Salon Manicure in Winter Sky.

Maasai Red is a deep, vampy red. The perfect color for fall, formula and application were great. This one is a stainer, so I'd double up on the base coat. This is 2 coats.
Rodarte
Sisters Kate and Laura Mulleavy launched Rodarte in 2005 and quickly became known as the go-to house for couture, known for their intricate hand stitching and romantic details.  Leading ladies like Cate Blanchett, Natalie Portman, Keira Knightley, Kirsten Dunst, Michelle Obama, Chloe Sevigny, Tilda Swinton, Elle Fanning, and Reese Witherspoon have all worn Rodarte’s idiosyncratic yet sophisticated styles.

The exclusive Sally Hansen inspired by Rodarte collection includes: Complete Salon Manicure in Gold Glass, Complete Salon Manicure in Beige Glass, Complete Salon Manicure in Rose Glass.

Rose Glass is a lovely dusty pink. I didn't think I would like this shade, but I wanted to try something out of the norm for me. I was surprised at how much I liked it, this was actually my favorite of the 3. However, formula is on the sheer side and it took 3 coats to become opaque.
Price & Availibity: These limited edition colors are available now for $7.99 each.

Which is your favorite shade?
